Da har vi fått første rapport fra GoHelp om bruk av ambulansen. Den er i flittig bruk og har vært et svært nyttig verktøy for sykehuset. Vi er svært stolt over at vi med manges bistand har kunne gi et lite men verdifullt bidrag til en region som har lite fra før. Nedenfor følger rapporten fra GoHelp:

Ambulance Use:
Taking doctors to patients’ houses, transporting heavy patients to Kulob city and Dushanbe

Kilometers:
36.474 km was served since Ambulance arrived in 2014

Trips:
661 trips first three months. In total 2197 visits and trips (incl. Dushanbe) in 2014

Purpose:
Transporting patients, assisting patients while critical need

Comments:
Head of the district hospital arrived to Dushanbe after New Year to process importing donated VW. He needed help and advice from Go Help in Dushanbe. GoHelp prepared Invoice and Contract with Khatlon region Health Department. Documents will be handed on to Custom service for Importing VW ambulance donated by Norway

He mentioned several visits of ambulance to Dushanbe and many other times to Kulob. He told the sad story of one man falling from the mountain with his only one daughter. When he saw his daughter falling updown from the cliff, he jumped to save her, but in result of strong injury of backspin, was transported with the ambulance to Dushanbe fast, safety (using other helpful donated supplies with the ambulance) and comfortable.
Usually pregnant women are transported to Kulob city, due to the critical situation and luck of standard medical service in Muminobod.

Ambulance is have been serving perfect with no problem so far.

The only issue is importing, which is on process and will be finished before the first quarter of the current year.
